Malaysia's minimum wage

The current updated minimum wage was released. RM4.33 per hour for Penisular Malaysia..... EXTREMELY LOW for this era. I know other countries have minimum wages way higher than ours. One bowl of noodle is already RM5 above. If we want the ones below RM5, its probably plain soup with very little noodles.... The cost of living is increasing drastically but our country's minimum wage is still considered pittance. How can there be growth with just RM4.33 per hour??? Its not even encouraging to the young ones to make the effort to work their butt off as part-timers with that kind of pay. It is rather embarassing to know that my country could only increase the minimum wage to rm4.33 per hour....

berpaneh (berpanas), berhujan (tapi Lumut tak ujan pun sepanjang Pesta Laut kali ni)....
walopon bertutop tapi itu le ayor yang deme gune....

betoi.... Nabi Muhammad S.A.W ade cakap...
9/10 punce rezeki adalah daghi (dari) berniage....
tapi kalo gini gaye berniage nye.....
agak2nye berkat ke rezeki deme????

e-filing

Alhamdulillah...pagi semalam pukul 2.58pg sudah selamat submit borang e-filing. Seperti yang semua maklum, hari ini 30 April adalah hari terakhir bagi semua pembayar cukai /pekerja yang layak membayar cukai mengisi borang BE. Alhamdulillah juga line internet sangat laju dan tidak tersekat-sekat...

Tanggungjawab sudah dilaksanakan...

ni,nak cita sikit ni.. saya ada kawan opis yang sangat kuat kerja. lagipun memang dia banyak kerja. dia je juruteknik yang ada. bahagian bangunan pun dia, unit pemantau pun dia. nasib la yek.

yang peleknya,dia ni walaupun bz, dia sempat lagi main game yang saya main zaman sekolah rendah!! yang dasyatnya dia main sorang2!!!! dia kata dia jujur dengan diri dia!! main dengan penuh ikhlas, xde tipu2!! ishh.. pelek tapi benar!!

dia main game yang X dan O tu.. buat silang, pastu tanda X dan O.. kalau boleh jadi 1 line,dia menang!!


kesian pun ada :P

Bersih 3.0 - Video Sebenar Kejadian Kereta Polis Diterbalikkan Berhampiran SOGO

Difahamkan, kejadian berlaku kira-kira jam empat petang. Kereta pegawai penyiasat polis itu dikatakan sedang melalui laluan berhadapan kompleks membeli belah SOGO. Peserta demonstrasi dikatakan membaling objek dan terkena anggota polis yang memandu kereta ini. Ia menyebabkan kereta ini terbabas.

Kumpulan peserta demonstrasi yang melihat kejadian kemudian mengerumuni kenderaan ini. Mereka seterusnya memecah dan menendang kereta ini sebelum menterbalikkannya. Difahamkan tindakan tersebut berlaku selepas didakwa melanggar penyokong Bersih 3.0 di situ.

Kejadian tersebut telah menjadi isu, siapakah yang bersalah? Pemandu kereta ke atau penyokong bersih? Dikatakan pula video yang ditayangkan di Berita TV3 telah diedit. Sama-samalah kita tengok video dibawah dan anda nilailah sendiri.

My cravings for a good, juicy beef burger is so strong right now that I started digging my fridge and eating whatever snacks that can curb my cravings for a burger!

Beef burgers at Chilli's was always my favourite because the huge portion served was always satisfying. But then, TF introduced me to Carl's Jr burger and I must admit, it was a better deal than Chilli's burgers. Then there was the German Deli burger at Ampang Jaya, which made me salivate looking at the pictures. But, the although the beef patties were huge, I didn't really enjoy the overpowering beef flavour it had. I'd like to believe that my distaste for strong smelling/tasting beef was because when I was much much younger, I was religiously told I was not allowed to eat beef. Hence, there was a time in standard 1 and 2 where I had to be that 'special' student to habitually inform the teacher that I can't eat beef during lunch breaks in school. Of course, its just my theory. I'm not 100% sure if that is tge reason. Standard 3 came and Hard Rock Cafe's beef burgers grew on me slowly. I started off only being able to swallow a quarter of the burger while my sister ate the rest of my burger wuth ease. Then, with many more visits to Hard Rock Cafe and Chilli's over the years, I finally manage to have a burger all to myself. Even now, if I were to be at a Western restaurant (eg: The Ship), and was given a choice between beef or lamb, my tastebuds will always choose lamb over beef. Its no wonder those Arabic lamb meals to me, are to die for.

Recently I tried this place called Burger Lab at Publika. They didn't have much choices on their menu. This was because they were not officially opened yet. It was by invitation only as they wanted people to try and give their opinions on the burger. The burgers were served at a shop called The Red Beanbag. I had their cheese beef burger which had really good beef patty. It came with french fries as I ordered the set meal and refillable soda. TF had mushroom burger(called ooey gooey) and he loved it much. For him to love a burger means it was really good as he is a beef food specialist. But, according to him, for the price paid for this burger, Carl's jr is still more worth it and satisfying.

Across from Burger Lab there was another burger place called Fat Boys. It looked good but I read a few blog reviews and some were not impressed by it. So, it sorts of delays my interest in trying that place.

My mum finally tried the much publicised Kaw Kaw burger. They now not only have a branche in Wangsa Maju, but they do have one at Taman Dagang. My mum went to the Taman Dagang one since it was opened by my ex-schoolmate. The wait was long, as expected. It costs rm8.50 for the burger. But, accordin to my mum, it was really good and worth it. Now that, I will try someday real soon!

hari ni saya pakai jubah yang kakak saya tolong belikan dari QATAR..

sooooooooOOOOooo hari ni bajet minah arab la kan.. :) jubah ni sangat selesa!! suka sangat.. walaupun nipis,tapi tak jarang! pakai kul 2 tengah hari pun ok je.. tak de panas melampau!!

ada juga rasa macam nak pakai jubah jeee.. sebab senang + dah tentu2 tutup aurat + selesa + cantik dimata saya!! insyallah... dengan izin darinya, mungkin suatu hari nanti impian tu akan terlaksana.

apapun, yang penting, niat dan kemahuan dalam diri tu ada.

doakan semua tu terlaksana yek!!

Eero Saarinen Womb Chair

 The beautiful Womb Chair, designed by Eero Saarinen for  Florence Knoll in 1948, is  available in many vivid colours. This green is perfect with the pale floors and gray walls. 

The Eames Molded Plywood Chair

 Amoroso Design

Time  Magazine called The Eames Molded Plywood Chair "the best design of the 20th century" and it continues to be a staple into the 21 century. It was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1946 for Herman Miller. 

Arne Jacobsen Series 7 Chair 

 CWB Architects

 Arne Jacobsen designed this chair in  1955. The curves  move your eyes in a restful rhythm and there is such softness to the overall look. I love the colour of these  particular chairs and the shape has always appealed to me.

Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair

Arne Jacobsen designed the egg chair in 1958 for the Radisson Royal Hotel. I visited Prague this past summer and this was the style of chair in one of the lounges.  They are super comfortable.

This beautiful,  white Florence Knoll  Lounge Settee fits perfectly in this tiny space. The straight lines, tubted back and seat provide all t he detail that is needed to see why this is a  highly popular design in the 21 century.

  Isamu Noguchi tables are widely available and relatively affordable. They were in constant production from 1947 until 1973, and then returned to production in 1984, and  are still available.  Because of its rounded triangular shape it works well with one edge parallel to a sofa and the the other two edges facing two chairs on angles.  I have also seen it used to great effect with a sectional sofa and a chair arrangement. 

Wegner Wishbone Chair

Have you ever seen The Wishbone Chair in anyone's home?  It is i probably the most popular Hans J. Wegner chair because its rounded style fits with so many other different styles of  furniture. .  This  designer  began his career as a cabinetmaker and then spent time as a furniture designer with  Arne Jacobsen's architectural practice. The Nelson Pendant light is another iconic mid century design. 

Nelson Bubble Light

The first Nelson Bubble Light was designed by George Nelson in 1947.  They are hanging shades comprised of sculptural wire skeletons covered in translucent plastic. There are a variety of forms including: the Propeller, the Cigar, the Crisscross, the Ball, the Saucer, the Apple, the Pear, and the Lantern which are still in production today.

Norman  Cherner designed this beautifully curved chair in 1958 and it went out of production in the 70'd. His sons started producing them again in 1999.

dan dah lama pun pupus...

dan diteruskan ke tahun ini dengan nama baru.....

Mana kereta elektrik proton nih??

Aku duk tunggu keta elektrik proton, alih2 Preve yg kluar dulu.

Kalau preve pakai letrik gak, aku nak beli. Beli jgn x beli. Enjin memang power, macam 2.0. Xyah pakai voltage stabilizer dah, pickup dah power.

Amacam. Menarik tak? Harga RM55k hingga RM75k...........nak lagi tepat pi la proton. Bonet besar, boleh muat saiz 3 orang hafizah(xl), atiqah(m), sabrina(xxxl) yg mengandung2. Bonet ni utk letak barang bukan letak orang yer..........TQ.

Bandingkan harga dgn keta luar. Enjin turbo, auto wiper (wiper akan laju or perlahan ikut kelebatan hujan macam BMW tuuu), airbag ada 4, 2 depan 2 belakang. Perrrgggghh..

20 tahun dulu

budak ini beghumo (berumur) 12 tahun....
bersekolah kat Sekolah Kebangsaan Kg Pasir Puteh, Ipoh....
daghi 1987 - 1992 budak ini kat situ...
itu le satu2 nye sekolah rendah budak ini...

mase tu pade budak ini....
sekolah le tempat paling best...
best bukan sebab belajo...
tapi best sebab nak jumpe kengkawan...
dapat main dengan kengkawan....

berbasikei (berbasikal) daghi ghumah (dari rumah) ke sekolah...
mase tu... meghupekan pengembaraan yang menyeghonokkan (menyeronokkan)....
sementaghe (sementara) nak sampei sekolah......
macam2 bende bulih dibuat...

subuh semalam....
budak ini terserempak dengan cikgu yang pernah mengajo dulu.....
20 tahun dulu... Cikgu Norita dengan Cikgu Nordin
mase deme tengah mude dulu.....
masih bujang.....
tengah bersemangat mengajo ....
dan keghairahan deme untok mendidik anak bangse......

tapi semalam....
dengan hanya tinggei dua tahun lagi sebelum pencen....

Malaysia's new food fad- Banana Fritters with cheese and brown sugar!

The shop is located opposite Tar college. I could see the cheese but I couldnt really taste the cheesiness of it. But, the banana fritter was fabulous. It was not the soggy kind usually sold elsewhere and the batter was thin and crispy. It is to die for! I'd go back for more not for the cheese, but for their banana fritters.
