The Sun

Remember way back in primary school when the teacher showed us how to draw a SUN. The sun always looked like this:

Never once did I question my primary school teacher as to why the sun should be drawn that way.
The sun usually looked bright and round in my eyes:


In high school, when people started reading and seeing more things around them, I learnt to draw the sun like this:

Again, being a typical Malaysian student, I didn't ask much. I just followed what others did.. and well, also because the sun looked wayyy nicer than the first one ;p
But to my naked eye, in sunny Malaysia, the sun still looked round. Sometimes looking up at the sun was impossible. Squint till cannot see the sun or if I tried to stare at the sun, my eyes will ended up seeing stuff in weird colours:


After high school, I was bound to meet someone who was selling art pieces at the malls (aka art drawn by professional artist) and it always looked like this:

This morning, I finally found the answer I wasn't was searching for after all those years XD

As I looked outside my window, the weather outside was absolutely fabulous today after all the continuous snowfall in the previous days. Hence, I decided to play around with my GF1... Played with the ISO, and WB modes on Manual.



I also ended up getting shots of the sunset. Yay because through my window, I can see the sunrise, and see it moving to the right side till it sets. East and West doesn't seem so far ;)










I thought the shots turned out nice... But then when I asked a friend to give his opinion, he said it was nice but its like any other normal photos.... *sad* Oh well, as long as I am happy with it and at least I know why the sun was drawn as what I've been taught since 6 years old :)

Cara mengelakkan read more automatik pada halaman statik

Memasang read more secara automatik memang menyenangkan kita kerana tidak perlu lagi memasukkan apa apa kod dan memilih bahagian mana teks yang hendak dipotong.Tetapi masaalahnya bila kita membuat halaman statik pada blog pun ada read more juga.Halaman statik untuk meletakkan sitemap dan tukar link tentunya kita nak paparan penuhkan?Jadi tutorial ini adalah bagi rakan rakan yang ingin mengatasi  masaalah dengan read more automatic ini.


Caranya:
Masuk ke dashboard,pilih template>>Edit HTML


Cari kod dibawah ini:

Apa yang perlu kita buat ialah tambahkan kod warna hijau padanya.Cara ini telah saya gunakan pada read more automatic dengan thumbnail yang ada pada blog ini.

Satu kebetulan?

Adakah ini satu kebetulan?
selepas kejadian semalam (sila baca entri sebelum ini), 
hari ini terfikir setelah teringat kata-kata seseorang suatu masa dulu (entah zaman batu bila dulu...) mengenai kereta ini lah. 

Orang tu kata, kita jangan cakap apa-apa yang tak baik/elok pada kereta kita semasa kita sedang pakai kereta tu...nanti kereta tu "merajuk"..

hurmmm..?? kereta merajuk???? 

contohnya macam kes inilah...bukan lah saya cakap perkara tak elok pada kereta ni, cuma saya pernah bercakap kepada anak bongsu saya, yang saya sedang berfikir-fikir nak cat baru kereta ni dan nak jual dan tukar kereta baru.  (Al-maklum lah "baju" yang dipakainya dah lusuh..nak bagi baju baru lah...)

Anak bongsu saya ni pulak pergi lah canang sana-sini pada abang2 dan kakak2 dia yang ummi nak tukar kereta baru... semasa di rumah, dalam kereta semasa nak gi kedai, nak gi airport hantar abi...diulang-ulangnya cerita tu...

tak lama lepas tu... jadilah kejadian semalam tu...pastu saya terfikirlah cerita orang tu berkenaan kereta "merajuk" ...

tapiiiiiiii...

semua ni kan dah suratan takdir... nak jadi-jadi lah...

bukan pasal "merajuk" pulak kan...

 kalau kita percaya ni, macam percaya cerita tahyul aje...

heeee...na'uzubillahi minzalik...

tak mahulah termasuk mensyirikkan Allah pula...

Wagamama

Wagamama, with their motto 'Positive eating + Positive living',  is a Japanese restaurant serving a variety of ramen, donburi and salads. People love this place. When I heard about Wagamama from Fiona, and I mentioned it to other people, all they do is gush about it!

I had my first visit to Wagamama located at Glasgow's city centre. Wagamama's menu can be found online.
After lab, the five of us walked through the snow-filled paths towards Wagamama.

Looking at the menu, there was a wide array of choices to choose from. Took me awhile to decide. Finally, with some recommendations, I opted for the Chilli Ramen. It is a spicy noodle soup containing red chilli, onions, bean sprouts and a choice of chicken or beef. I ordered Chilli Ramen with chicken as it was cheaper ;p (8.95 pounds).

The bowl of noodle was huge and there was a generous portion of chicken. I would say it tasted like prawn noodle soup in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Linzi, Fiona, Becky and Eva all ordered curry chicken katsu with rice. I had a taste of it and the curry reminded of the Malaysian curry with santan. It was not spicy.

As for drinks, green tea is free of charge if a meal is ordered.

All in all, Wagamama is the place to go to if I ever miss Asian food. It has a good ambience for friendly meet-ups with friends :)

Of course, it helps to have beautiful china  and crystal, but your could  use plain white tableware and spray assorted napkin rings with gold metallic paint. Dollar stores offer a range of inexpensive containers for tea lights.

A Little Crafting

Your table setting can echo metallic decorating schemes with a little crafting. White  napkins can be decorated with metallic paint using a stencil.  Check out Lumiere fabric paint. Ribbon and simple gold decorations complete the setting.

A winter theme

There's nothing like blue and silver to give you that cool, shimmery feel of winter.  The white snowflakes, small clear glasses,  and silver glitter balls can be found at most dollar stores. And who knows what other ideas you will get when you start to look around for inspiration.

Info pemakanan semasa mengandung

Since pregnant ni mmg ada masalah terutama dr segi kesihatan deena. ( kencing manis )
dan tiap2 bulan jadi pengunjung setia di klinik utk ujian BSP dan perut. baru-baru ni deena
dinasihat kn oleh pakar pemakanan elakkan makanan yg berkabohidrat tinggi..

klu nak diikut byk yg deena xleh makan. xkan nak makan roti serat dan air tawar jer yer x ?
hmmmm... bkn x bleh makan nasi cuma perlu dikurangkan dlm sehari. seboleh2nyer cuba gak la ikut nasihat dorang kan..

nak share info ttg pemakanan semasa mengandung .

Mengapa pengambilan makanan sihat penting semasa mengandung?
Tujuannya ialah :
  • Untuk memastikan perkembangan janin yang sihat
  • Untuk mengekalkan kesihatan ibu.
  • Untuk memenuhi keperluan nutrien dan memastikan penambahan berat badan yang bersesuaian semasa mengandung
    • Jika anda kurang berat badan, anda perlu menambah diantara 12-18kg
    • Jika berat badan anda normal sebelum mengandung, anda perlu menambah diantara 11-16kg.
    • berat badan anda berlebihan, anda perlu menambah diantara 7-11kg.
    • Jika kandungan anda kembar, anda perlu menambah lebih kurang 16-20kg.
Semasa mengandung berapa banyak yang perlu saya?
  • 6-11 hidangan nasi/bijiran atau roti
  • 3-5 hidangan sayur dan buah (sekurang-kurangnya satu yang kaya dengan vitamin c dan satu dalam vitamin A)
  • 2-4 hidangan susu atau produk tenusu
  • 3-4 hidangan daging, ikan dan makanan protein lain termasuk kekacang
  • 6-8 gelas air, dan tidak lebih daripada satu cawan minuman ringan (coca-cola) atau secawan kopi atau teh sehari.
Jenis makanan yang perlu saya makan lebih semasa mengandung?
  1. Pilih makanan yang mempunyai tinggi bahan nutrien seperti :
    • Kalsium (susu, keju, dadih, sayuran dedaun hijau dan produk kacang soya)
    • Zat besi (hati, daging tanpa lemak, roti yang ditambah dengan zat galian dan kekacang jenis kering (kacang peas)
    • Vitamin A (hati, susu, telur)
    • Vitamin B Kompleks ( hati, daging tanpa lemak, ikan dan susu)
    • Vitamin C (jambu, betik dan limau)
    • Asid Folik (sayuran berdaun hijau, hati dan kacang).
  2. Ambil makanan tambahan (jika disarankan oleh Doktor atau Pakar Pemakanan.

Jika menghadapi masalah ini, apakah patut kita lakukan?
  1. 'Lactose intolerance'
    • Cuba produk susu dengan minuman yang mengandungi rendah laktosa
    • Lebihkan pengambilan ikan yang mempunyai tulang yang lembut dan boleh dimakan (sardines, ikan bilis)
    • Minum susu kacang soya dan produk kacang soya
    • Ambil lebih sayuran seperti bayam dan kailan yang mempunyai sumber kalsium yang baik.
  2. Loya (Morning Sickness)
    • Makan pada waktu makan yang teratur.
    • Makan dengan amaun yang sedikit tetapi kerap.
    • Kurangkan pengambilan makanan yang berlemak atau bergoreng.
    • Minum banyak air.
  3. Sakit ulu hati (Heartburn)
    • Makan dengan amaun yang sedikit tetapi kerap.
    • Kunyah makanan dengan perlahan.
    • Elakkan berbaring sejurus selepas makan.
  4. Sembelit (Constipation)
    • Minum banyak air.
    • Ambil makanan yang tinggi kandungan serat (bijiran, bijirin penuh, buah-buahan yang tinggi serat dan sayuran)
